How does the integration between Fera.ai and AdNabu work for Google Shopping ads?

To get started, make sure you're on AdNabu's Advanced Plan. Then, inside AdNabu, go to 'Settings' → 'Integration' → 'Product Reviews' and select 'Use default ID format (shopify_{country}{product_id}{variant_id})' as your Item ID, and for variants, set the Group ID as 'Use default group ID format (shopify_{country}_{product_id})'. Moreover, while configuring this setting, ensure that all products and variants in your Shopify have unique identifiers such as GTINs, SKUs, etc., because these will later be used for the mapping of reviews to the right products.
Once you complete that, a fresh set of products will be created in GMC based on your selected ID format.
At the same time, you will also have to enable Google Shopping reviews in the Fera.ai app and configure settings to include GTINs and SKUs of all items in your review feed.
After completing the previous step, generate a support ticket in AdNabu for product review integration from the same interface of the 'Product Review' feature by clicking on 'Generate'. This will take you to a 'Google Shopping Integration – Product Reviews' form, where you'll need to enter basic details like your Shopify URL, chosen review platform, and any special notes. Once submitted, our support and tech teams will take over.
Then both the product feed from AdNabu and an XML review feed from Fera.ai will be submitted to the Merchant Center by the apps, respectively. Google will then take approximately 14 days to verify and approve the submitted data, integrate the feeds, and map reviews to the correct items in your Google Shopping feed.
After that, star ratings and review counts will begin appearing automatically on your Shopping ads and free listings.

Which type of reviews will the integration display on my Google Shopping Ads?

Only verified product-level reviews collected through Fera.ai will be displayed. These appear as aggregated star ratings (1 to 5 stars) with total review counts in both Shopping ads and free listings.

Can I choose which product reviews appear on my listings?

Accepted Answer

No. Google decides which reviews to display. Merchants cannot manually select specific reviews for display in Shopping ads or listings.

How are reviews matched to the products?

The review matching process is handled by Google inside Merchant Center. Once the integration is set up in AdNabu and Google Shopping reviews are enabled in Fera.ai, both the product feed (from AdNabu) and the review feed (from Fera.ai) are submitted separately to Google Merchant Center.
From there, Google uses its internal systems to map the reviews to the correct products, using unique product identifiers, ensuring they appear accurately in your Shopping ads and free listings.

Can I display my reviews on other marketplaces?

No. This integration is only for Google Shopping. Reviews will not appear on other marketplaces.

To qualify, your store must have at least 50 product reviews, and the reviews must be submitted monthly through a supported aggregator or directly via Google Merchant Center.
Google matches reviews to products using identifiers like GTINs, MPNs, brand names, or SKUs. Ratings typically take up to 14 days to appear and are only shown in countries where Shopping ads and listings are available.

How long does it take for the reviews to start displaying on my product listings?

After submission, Google takes 14 days to verify and process the submitted products and reviews. Reviews will only appear if they meet Google's review policies and product matching criteria.

How long does the whole process of integration take?

Setting up the integration within our app takes just a few minutes. You only need to confirm the item ID and group ID formats (in case of variants) and submit a support ticket. Then, once both the product feed from AdNabu and the XML review feed from Fera.ai are submitted to GMC, Google will automatically map the reviews using unique identifiers to the correct products.
