How does the integration between Okendo and AdNabu work for Google Shopping ads?

Integrating AdNabu and Okendo is simple.

Navigate to ‘settings’ In the app. Here, locate and click on ‘Product Review.’

You will be redirected to another page. After being redirected, you must pick an appropriate format to display your product reviews in.

Now, simply click on ‘Generate Ticket’ to let our customer service team know, and they will help you out promptly.

Our customer service team will contact you and walk you through the product review integration process.

We integrate product reviews via the backend to minimize effort on your end. Several technical checks are conducted before your product reviews are displayed to avoid any further hassle.

Which type of reviews will the integration display on my Google Shopping Ads?

As of now, our app only supports star-based reviews, which are displayed on Google Shopping Ads.

You can manually configure text or image-based reviews on Stamped.io. Typically, text or image based reviews are seen on product landing pages only.

Can I choose which product reviews appear on my listings?

Unfortunately, you cannot. Google has a stringent policy in place to avoid misleading information with respect to customer satisfaction and reviews. To become eligible for the Google Product Ratings Program (which allows merchants to display their reviews in ad listings), every single review, including low ratings, has to be included in your ad listings.

How are reviews matched to the product(s)?

Ratings and reviews are matched to the products in your store using ‘identifiers’.

Right now, the most recognized globally unique product identifiers are GTINs.

If you do not have a GTIN code for your product, Google will match a review to your product using other means of information such as brand + MPN pairs, SKUs, or product URLs.

However, you must note these are not recommended to be used as identifiers when compared to GTINs. It is possible that Google might not match all your reviews to your products without GTINs.

Can I display my reviews on other marketplaces?

No, we only provide the option to integrate product reviews for Google Shopping Ads.

Is there any fee/cost associated with integrating Okendo with AdNabu?

No, you will not be charged any additional fees to use this feature. Do note that this feature is available for ‘Advanced’ and ‘Plus’ plan users only.

What is Google’s Product Rating Policy?

Google has a very strict ‘Product Rating Policy’. In order to display your product reviews on Google, all merchants are required to follow them.

All merchants must have over 50 reviews to sign up for the ‘Product Rating Policy’. The reviews mustn’t violate copyright laws. Additionally, reviews must not be offensive or even spam.

Furthermore, merchants are required to sync all reviews (including low-rating reviews) and have reviews that include text.

Lastly, the reviews must not reveal the identity of the reviewer (e.g., full name, email ID, phone number, etc.).

How long does it take for the reviews to start displaying on my product listings?

Google verifies each review that is submitted. Thus, it can take up to 4-5 days after a review is submitted to the Google Merchant Center to be fully processed. It can take longer (up to 14 days) in unforeseen circumstances.

They will be displayed as ratings once the reviews are verified and accepted by Google Shopping Ads.

How long does the whole process of integration take?

The whole process of integration can take (maximum) up to 3-4 weeks.

Once we receive your ticket, we will promptly finish the necessary backend processes.

However, because Google verifies and reviews each product rating individually, the verification process can extend the duration before your website is crawled by Google’s systems. This meticulous verification is conducted to ensure the accuracy and reliability of every review added to Google’s systems.
