The Blocklist feature allows you to filter your product feed based on product collections and types. You can exclude the blocklisted products from being pushed to the Google Merchant Center or other marketplaces, letting you focus your time and efforts on the listings you want to show in your advertisements.

How does the Blocklist feature work?

The Blocklist feature excludes the product type or categories you want to be separated from your product feed. Even newer products that are added later are automatically blocked from being pushed to marketplaces based on your set criteria. This way, only products you allow to be displayed are presented in your ad campaigns.

For example - If you have a shoe store that also has sandals. Suppose you want your advertising campaign only to present your products, which are shoes. In that case, you can simply put the ‘sandal’ product type in the blocklist, which will be excluded from being pushed to the Google Merchant Centre or other marketplaces.

Thus, your advertising campaign will only have product listings of shoes just like you wanted.
